You guessed it, our beloved friend: YOGURT. Yum. But there are SO many options out there! Where can I begin?
For those who prefer a thicker consistency, Greek is a delicious option. For others with any type of allergy or lactose sensitivity, sheep or goat's yogurt are awesome, or even non-homogenized yogurt from Trinity Valley farm. For those without allergies and with a huge appetite for flavor, grass-fed organic cow's yogurt is pure wow. Now, they even create yogurts that are nut-based, for added protein without the dairy component.
Regardless of your tastebuds, it's comforting to know that you don't ever have to let yogurt become a boring part of the day. When feeding your little ones, be conscious of choosing organic, full fat or 2-4% fat as opposed to the low-fat options to nourish their developing nervous systems.
