Mmmmm Is For Milk Mustache

Good morning!

I am not sure what your household is like in the morning, but mine is HUNGRY! We gather around the fridge to see what looks the freshest and most delicious in that moment, and then agree upon something that we haven't in a while. This morning we went with pumpkin pecan oats, with oven-toasted pecans and hazelnuts smothered in coconut oil, coconut sugar, cinnamon and Canadian maple syrup. I mixed in some organic pumpkin puree that I bought from the grocery store for added antioxidants, fiber, beta-carotene and for a new flavor, then sprinkled into the oats a ton more cinnamon, almond extract, non-homogenized whole milk from Trinity Valley Farm, and a touch more maple syrup, and this created the creamy oat-rich base for the oven-roasted nuts. SO satiating! In under 20 minutes, we had the BEST tasting, seasonal orange-colored breakfast, that everyone gobbled up. Then for a sweet treat: chocolate milk!! Delivered fresh that morning from Manhattan Milk.

Here is a sideways view of my little toddler sipping and devouring her milk (and her delicious milk mustache!) after breakfast this am. Bon appetit!
